We’re looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will support our project management, finance, and accounting activities. Key responsibilities for this position include:

- Supporting project management tasks such as project planning, monthly progress/cost reporting, schedule tracking, and creation and control of project documentation
- Ensuring effective project change control through the use of Project Change Request forms and registers
- Supporting product assurance/quality assurance control on R&D projects throughout the project life cycle to maintain high quality standards for deliverables
- Supporting contract and subcontract coordination, document control, and project close-out activities
- Supporting R&D proposal preparation, including reviewing requests for proposals and associated requirements, participating in project planning discussions, developing task listings, gathering cost information, and supporting the generation of technical and managerial proposals
- Occasional administrative duties, such as answering the phone and maintaining records
We are looking for candidates that meet the following profile:

- Due to security requirements, the candidate must be a Canadian or US citizen, or a permanent resident of Canada, have 5+ years of verifiable history of employment and residence, and will be required to undergo a criminal record check as a condition of employment.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a Canadian university or recognized international equivalent, with a strong academic record. A degree in a Business, Finance, Science, or Engineering discipline is an asset.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required. Familiarity with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Project is an asset.
- Training or certifications in project management are an asset.
- Experience or aptitude in accounting, project management, or business metrics is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal in English, for interfacing with customers and working within a multi-disciplinary team of scientific, engineering, manufacturing, and management personnel.
- Outstanding attention to detail, self-motivated, strong organizational and time management skills, able to learn quickly, receptive to constructive feedback, and open minded.
- Must be willing and able to travel internationally on a regular basis.

Salary Range: $60,000-$90,000/yr
